Almost Family

Shot on Portra 400 and Kodak color 800 film, these photographs carry the warmth and uncertainty of images found in an old family album. They do not ask to be perfect. They ask us to stay a little longer to look into someone’s eyes, notice a gesture, study a face, and wonder what happened just before or after the frame. A photograph can be more than a technical achievement. It can hold a small story, even when that story belongs to someone we have never met. These images live somewhere between the familiar and the unknown: unfamiliar faces that somehow feel close, and ordinary moments already beginning to turn into memories.
